Bathroom vanities are cabinets used for storing items in the bathroom. The surface materials include natural stone, jade, artificial stone, fireproof board, paint, glass, metal, and solid wood, among others. The base material, as the main component, determines its quality and price. Common base materials include particleboard, plywood, MDF, fiberboard, and moisture-resistant board.

When moving bathroom vanities, handle them gently. If the ground is uneven, shim the legs to prevent deformation. They are classified by installation method as wall-mounted or floor-standing. Wall-mounted vanities require a load-bearing wall and have an unsupported bottom for easy cleaning, while floor-standing vanities are more versatile but require attention to moisture prevention. Regarding materials, solid wood is waterproof and has a natural look; PVC is waterproof but prone to deformation; stainless steel is rust-resistant and durable but easily scratched; and ceramic is easy to clean but fragile. For daily maintenance, avoid direct sunlight, clean regularly with a soft cloth and wax; scratches on ceramic basins can be repaired with toothpaste.
